- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Since when does a pharmacist get to dictate what kind of doctor can prescribe my medications? I've been using Queens for a few months since moving into the area, as I wanted to do business with a local merchant rather than a large chain. But I stand corrected in this case. Queens pharmacist said because my medication is prescribed by a doctor of internal medicine rather than pain management, that she was refusing to fill them anymore. She went further to say that she would never have filled my prescriptions at all. She would not elaborate on why. I was asked to leave the pharmacy, being told that "a large chain pharmacy like Rite Aid" would probably suit me better. I had no problems at Rite Aid and therefore am moving all of my prescriptions THERE immediately.November 13, 2017by Chris Pachman
